The End in Sight

Though the journey has been a huge pleasure, the end is in sight. The main table is finished for the most part (I am updating a few panels with details) and hung on our wall in the finished basement. The challenge was finding a means to hang this 70-pound array of wood and metal on a wall safely. The answer to this problem is a French cleat bolted to the wall studs with a corresponding piece attached on the table itself. Thanks to my wife Cheryl for helping me hoist this beast upon the wall cleat.

The lanthanides and actinides, the two rows typically seen under the main table, are being produced, and Iā€™m halfway done with this. Indeed, the project will likely be complete by the end of this year.
