Bonestell Final Assembly

I’m starting to put together the final major assemblies for the Bonestell: the habitation and machinery modules. The former is represented by a ring that spins to impart gravity. The dome that covers it would protect the vehicle as it plows through the solar system. It features tiles of some material that would be replaceable via space walks, supplemented by a magnetic field generator.

All the major components are assembled and primed. Now the challenges are what colors to paint them and, of course, rigging the electrical system with wires, LEDs, and fiber optics.

The model should look quite impressive when completed and lit. I hope it matches (or even exceeds) what I have imagined over the past year or so.
