Engines etc.
I’ve moved on to focus on the engines. Though relatively simple in plan, they are a complex in terms of wiring and details. The fit is not especially good, but that’s something I’ve gotten used to with kits.
The port engine is effectively done and, thankfully, lights still work when temporarily connected to the wiring from the ship. My hope is to finish both engines and install them, completing the assembly of the model. What follows will be substantial period of detail work and cleanup prior to masking off windows and starting the painting process, itself a long phase that will need to be handled very carefully…
